Breakbeat is changing all the time, and Breakspoll is changing with it. As many of the old-guard breakbeat veterans start to affiliate themselves with an already overcrowded electro/house scene, Breakspoll will deliver and showcase an entire new breed of innovators in breakbeat DJing and production, all alongside the established names who still support and believe in this scene. Breakspoll 2009 is dedicated to paving the way for new artists, their new sounds and the new influences - for a new scene.

Join new presenters Janette Slack and Ken Mac as they dish out the Awards to the best of the best of 2008, as fans, artists, industry insiders and media get together for the 8th International Breakbeat Awards, held at Fabric nightclub in London, and following on for another day at the Breakspoll Aftershow party at Matter nightclub at the o2.
